Who We Are
Adam & Tracey Greenberg
In 2011, Adam and Tracey Greenberg, along with their (at that time) 1 year old daughter Ellie, came to Los Barriles for a vacation and immediately fell in love with the community and bought a house. Since that time, they have worked diligently to be an authentic part of the community. Ellie attended first grade in Buena Vista and Grade 3 & 4 in Los Barriles. She has also participated in two Baja Shakespeare productions and is a member of the Taekwondo club.

The Greenberg’s are board members of the Leaders2Give non-profit which offers operational oversight of New Creation Orphanage in La Paz, is in the process of building a new orphanage in El Cardonal, is initiating a Youth Leadership Program, and has partnered with the East Cape Health Center, The Los Barriles Food Bank and The East Cape Guild to help support their amazing and necessary work. Adam has been a guest speaker at Rotary events focused on youth leadership and drug & alcohol awareness..

Adam and Tracey have always had a love and passion for great wine with friends which culminated in Adam earning his Level 2 WSET certificate in wine expertise.

When the Greenberg’s aren’t in the Baja they live on the Sunshine Coast, British Columbia. Adam works as an executive with a large, global software company and Tracey is a Certified Hypnotherapist.
Ilse Ochoa Rochin
Ilse Ochoa Rochin is originally from Los Barriles. She finished high school in 2012 and completed her studies in 2013. She was soon after married and has a beautiful little girl named Camilla with a second one on the way!

Wanting to improve her English, Ilse started working as a waitress at Smokeys . A few months later she began working at the reception desk for SPA Buena Vista hotel. In September 2015, she started a teaching job as an English teacher at the local Los Barriles Primary school.

Ilse was our original manager, but took one year off to return to teaching. We are lucky enough to have her smile and professionalism back with us.

She has always had an interest in wine and enjoyed all she learned while purchasing, tasting and serving wine for our happy customers. She’s very excited to have the opportunity to do that again!
Emma Barnes-Webb
Born in South Africa, Emma moved to Los Barriles at the age of nine with her family. Having attended the local Los Barriles Primary and Secondary school, she became fluent in Spanish.

Emma started her career in the world of wine at Wine Intelligence, a global company in the UK dedicated to supporting wine businesses through consulting, branding & market research.

She later joined IG Wines, a Fine Wine Investment company, where she advised elite collectors on buying and selling opportunities. Her muti-lingual skills helped her to develop strong supplier relationships around the world giving her access to allocations of the finest and rarest wines.
Emma is incredibly enthusiastic and passionate about wine and has pursued further study within the industry by completing her wine qualifications (WSET level 3 advanced certificate). Her love of Baja and its increasingly popular wine region has brought her home in pursuit of new and exciting opportunities.

Currently, he lives in our beautiful town, Los Barriles, BCS.

After completing highschool in Cabo, at the age of 18, Javier went to try his luck in the big city of Guadalajara, Jalisco. It was there that he entered GQB Culinary College and studied about his passion and hobby — cooking.

He has acquired a great deal of knowledge about wine and tequila so, come on in and get some recommendations! He will also put some lovely bites together for you to pair with whatever is in your glass.
